Okay gente, I will shortly give a hint about the phases for you. I will as well try to make a videoblog about it so that I can explain more deeply and detailed to you, but I have a lot on my mind so please keep patient and enjoy your lives as I update my blog as often as possible! For me quality goes before quantity. So I'll start with the first 2 phases;
1. Thought
It's not magic even though it may seem like it. This is about picturing in your head what you want your dog to do. For example, you want him to sit. The first thing you do is that you, consciously or unconsciously, imagine the picture in your head of the dog sitting down. If you have an exited dog that usually doesn't listen when you tell him to sit, then try to analyze yourself - you know that the dog usually doesn't listen, so what do you do? The common thing is that people unconsciously (omedvetet på svenska) picture and prepare themselves for that the dog will do everything except what you tell him with words. But, does the dogs read our mind? What kind of nonsense is this? No, they are not telepathists. But they do feel the intention of your thought. It's different - try to be aware of it with yourself. For example, you know when you just feel what a person is going to tell you or ask you within a few seconds? The dogs are much more sensitive than us with this, because they don't speak with words like we do. It's a bigger part of their communication, than it is for us humans.
2. Energy
This is about directing the energy of the motion that gives result of the picture. The energy itself should be felt similar to love - happy but calm. Not excited! When affecting a dog that does right, giving him a little excitement is not wrong. For example clapping your hands and talk with a "happy voice". But when giving the directions, I picture the energy like arrows pointing to the bodypart of the dog or the direction that I want the motion to happen. For example "sit", I picture arrows poking the hindquarter of the dog rythmically from above. Calm, won't the dog be slow? No, not necessarily. It's you who stay calm with the situation - but of course you can always intensify how strong and immediate the act will be (as you become more familiar with the phases), this doesn't mean you need to quit staying calm! So, a little more details for you to understand the "Energy"-phase;
When you are happy, sad or angry your dog can sense it and will act along with it. When you are sitting on the bus or metro and you don't want anyone to take the seat next to you (think of it and you will notice), many people (not all) around you can sense it and they will avoid to. If you are in a bad mood and are training with your dogs, they feel it and they will disobey and try to avoid your commands. This is because we exude energy, according to our emotions.
